Bonita Carol (Norton) Chesser

Bonita Carol Norton Chesser, age 58, of Mackville, KY passed away at 3:09 p.m., Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

She was born in Louisville, KY on April 26, 1965 to Delbert Eugene and Emma Pearl Byrd Norton.

She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her grandchildren. She was a previous volunteer at North Washington Elementary School.

Preceding her in death was her father, Delbert Eugene Norton; her step-father, R.L. Inghram and sister, Sheila Hardin.

Survivors include her husband, Randall Chesser;  a daughter, Brandy Hodgens (Tony) of Springfield; a son, Matthew Chesser (Brieanna) of Willisburg; four grandchildren, Alexis Chesser, Caitlynn Malone, Jacob Martin and Elizabeth Chesser; a step grandson, Tavin Hodgens; her mother, Emma Pearl Inghram of  Taylorsville; a sister, Patty Chesser (Donnie) of Taylorsville and a brother, Gene Norton (Kelly) of Taylorsville.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 6th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Hogue, officiating.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.

Serving as pallbearers will be Nathan Burton, Austin Sias, Steven Yates, Justin Norton, Jordan Norton and Tavin Hodgens.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 Friday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
